Tips for a great dub
Watch it once first
Play the scene a couple of times so you know where each line starts and ends.
Find a quiet spot
Fans, traffic and echo all show up in a recording. A small, soft room sounds best.
Stay close to the mic
About a hand's width away gives a clear voice without popping on strong consonants.
Act it out
Match the hero's energy. Big dialogues sound better when you use your face and hands too.

Is DubIt free?
Yes. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Pick a scene, allow your microphone and start dubbing.
Why is the clip muted while I record?
So the original dialogue doesn't leak into your microphone. You'll hear only yourself, and your dub stays clean.
Does my microphone need permission?
Yes. Your browser will ask the first time you record. If you blocked it by mistake, click the lock icon next to the address bar, allow the microphone, and reload the page.
Which browsers work?
Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Recording needs a secure (https) page and a working microphone.
Where does my recording go?
Recording and playback happen in your browser, and you choose when to download your dub.
Who owns the movie clips?
The clips and their audio belong to their respective owners. DubIt does not own them and is not affiliated with any film studio or artist. If you are a rights holder and want a clip removed, contact us through pgadda.app.
